Corporate and compliance training

Training that stays current in every language your workforce speaks

Translate mandatory training and its slides into every language on site. When the procedure changes, you change the words once and export the languages again.

The problem

What compliance teams actually run into

Nobody struggles to make the first version. The trouble starts later, and it sounds like this:

  • The safety module changed in March. The Polish and Lithuanian versions still say the old thing.
  • The studio quote for five languages came back in weeks, and there are twelve modules.
  • Someone asked which version each site actually watched, and the answer was a folder of video files.

Multilingual compliance training is a maintenance problem wearing a production problem’s clothes. Budget goes to the first version and the maintenance falls on whoever is nearest.

How it works

From one master to every site language

Step 1

Upload video and slides

One file or a whole course. Videos and slide decks are matched by filename, so nothing is paired by hand.

Step 2

Translate speech, slides and subtitles

All three are translated in the same pass, so they cannot drift out of sync with each other.

Step 3

Control the flow and the emphasis

Set when the viewer sees the speaker and when they see the slide, and mark the words the translated voice should stress.

Step 4

Edit, fine-tune and export

Correct the transcript and subtitles, adjust the timing, then export. Your edits carry through to the voice.

Why the slides matter more here than anywhere else

In compliance training the slide usually carries the thing that has to be exactly right: the threshold, the sequence, the warning, the piece of equipment by its correct name.

A tool that translates the audio and leaves the deck in the original language does not give you a translated module. It gives you a module where the voice and the screen disagree, in front of the audience least able to tell which one to believe.

The same discipline applies to the words themselves. Your glossary holds the terms that must not drift: the equipment by its correct name, the threshold as written, the phrase your auditor expects to find. The translation uses your terminology, not the dictionary’s best guess.

What stays yours

edon.ai does not decide what your training has to say or which languages you owe it in. Those duties sit with you as the employer.

What changes is the cost of meeting them: keeping nine language versions current stops being a project and becomes an export.

Questions

Questions compliance teams ask

What happens when a module changes?

You edit the transcript on the master and export the affected languages again. You do not re-record and you do not rebuild the course.

Does edon.ai translate both speech and slide text?

Yes. Spoken audio, subtitles and slide text are translated in the same workflow, so you do not need one tool for audio, another for captions and a third for the deck.

Can I lock terminology with a glossary?

Yes. Load a glossary per project or per organisation and the terms in it are held through translation: product names stay themselves, regulated wording stays exact, and the word your people actually use beats the dictionary. Ask a generic translator for a cable tie in Lithuanian and you can get a five-word description of a plastic strap; your fitters say zateškė, and a glossary is how the translation says it too.

Who checks the translation before it is published?

You do. Nothing leaves edon.ai on its own: you edit the transcript, the subtitles and the timing, and you export when it reads the way you want it to.

Which languages are supported?

Tell us the pair you need and we will confirm it. We would rather answer that question for your actual languages than publish a list that the model layer makes out of date.

Can I export to my LMS?

Tell us which LMS you use and we will confirm the export format before you commit to anything. Video and subtitle files are exported so they can be loaded into a learning platform.

Where is my data stored and who can see it?

Access is limited to your account users and to the subprocessors we list publicly. We are an EU company and can provide a Data Processing Agreement on request. For the specific hosting region and retention period that apply to your account, ask us and we will confirm them in writing rather than in a footnote.

Bring the module that is out of date

The one you already know needs updating in four languages. That is the useful demo.
